Privacy notice

This notice covers the public MEDZ synthetic showcase. It is not the final production privacy notice and does not authorize protected health information (PHI), real patient records, live claims, or live financial information.

Information used by this showcase

The showcase may process the access credential assigned for demonstration, browser and security request data needed to operate the service, fictional application information, and synthetic records entered by an authorized tester. Do not submit real patient, payment, or confidential business information.

Why the information is used

• Sign authorized testers in and protect access to demonstration records.
• Demonstrate application, documentation, audit, correction, reporting, and support workflows.
• Protect, diagnose, and improve the showcase environment.

Storage, sharing, and retention

The current showcase uses Azure-hosted application infrastructure. Some synthetic workflow events may be shared between MEDZ role portals for the demonstration. MEDZ does not sell showcase data or use it for advertising. Synthetic preview data may be reset or removed without notice and must not be treated as a system of record.

Production privacy gate

Before MEDZ accepts PHI, A.D.A.M. Corp must approve a production privacy notice, contractual data terms, authorized subprocessors, retention and deletion rules, identity and MFA controls, incident procedures, and a production security configuration. App-store availability or a successful demonstration does not open that gate.
